Provides complex integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall corporate and business goals. Translates client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Performs architecture and design of data visualization solutions. Translates decision support requirements into data marts and cubes designed for data visualization and navigation. Leads the collection of business requirements and documents business data dictionaries, metadata and business rules in support of strategic enterprise data presentation solutions, including critical strategic assignments. Prepares documentation for developers to build data presentation applications. Leads the development of business intelligence solutions, develops data reporting frameworks for the presentation and delivery of metrics, key performance indicators (KPI), dashboards and analytics. Experience
• Experience in application architecting using technology experience in databases, applications programming, and networking connectivity as typically acquired in 6 to 8 years.
• Experience with data repository design and maintenance and database administration and complex reporting analysis.
• Healthcare experience highly desired.
• In-depth working experience with Business Intelligence frameworks and reporting tools.
• Experience making independent decisions related to packaging data for BI applications and database model design.
• Expert SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse design and data visualization techniques.
• In-depth working experience with data modeling tools.
• Expert experience documenting database designs.
• Familiar with data definition language.
• Strong technical skills in report writing and reporting tools required, such as Oracle, SQL, Crystal, Business Objects or other reporting tools.
• Processes for requirements analysis/needs assessment, cost/benefit analysis, and structured techniques and prototyping.
